Our Values

Since 1954, as a traditional family business, we have stood for sustainable production and innovative processing of high-quality lambskin and leather products. Our values are composed four pillars, which we live by in every step of our in-house production.

QUALITY

Our decades of experience with core competence in tanning allows us to offer quality at the highest level. This enables our specialists to match the properties of the lambskins to the needs of the horse and rider.
The entire production and processing chain is carried out in our own tannery in compliance with the highest standards. This is our guarantee for the consistent high quality of our products.

RESPONSIBILITY

Environment
To treat the environment with care and in a regenerative way goes without saying for us. That is why the entire manufacturing process at WERNER CHRIST is carried out in-house. The company's own wastewater treatment plant operates according to strict German standards. Thanks to the eucalyptus forest we have planted ourselves and an efficient incineration plant, we succeed in tanning in a CO2-neutral manner, for which we received the "Corporate Carbon Footprint" label in 2014.

Social
Happy and motivated employees have always been our mission. That is why we consviously provide working conditions, that leave room for further training and development and promote togetherness. The workforce at all production sites is paid fairly and, of course, also has social and health insurance.

ZEITGEIST AND INNOVATION

Our goal is to manufacture products that meet the comfort and well-being of horse and rider, while appealing to a liberal, wordly and sophisticated clientele. When developing our cross-seasonal products, we emphasise functionality and variability and guarantee a high quality that will last for years.

CUSTOMER CENTRICITY

Meeting customer wishes means earning joy and satisfaction. This is what stand for as a company, as a trustworthy manufacturer, that delivers quality, offers services and lets you look over its shoulder during production.
