Why a bareback pad made from sheepskin? What are the advantages?
The bareback pads allow riders to bond even more closely with the horse. In the bareback pad, the rider sits even closer to the horse, feels the warmth very clearly and can perceive the horse's movements even more intensively.

Which bareback pad for me and my horse?
In order to address the different needs which horses and riders have, we have given loving attention to detail in the development of our various models. Only by virtue of this attention to detail can we be sure that each horse-rider couple will be able to find the perfect bareback pad for themselves.
Our bareback pads can all be used without stirrups or with stirrups if desired for better balance. The stirrup leathers are then simply attached to D-rings.
IBERICA PLUS
Our all-round model in the Spanish style. The higher cantle and pommel provide additional stability. Composite foam inserts will ensure higher comfort for rider and horse.
Available in sizes: PO (Pony), SH (Shetty) and WB (Full).
CLOUD SPECIAL +
The Cloud Special Plus is the model in the range that is completely lined with sheepskin on the underside. This bareback pad is also designed for western and leisure riders. Its structure makes gymnastics jumps possible, for example.

BASIC PLUS
The base model of our bareback pads. Composite foam inserts and a wedge-shaped bolster at the back will ensure comfort for both the rider and horse. This model is suitable for riders and horses who are used to English saddles (e.g. dressage saddles).
Available in sizes: PO (Pony), SH (Shetty) and WB (Full).
PREMIUM PLUS
The Premium Plus pad is very similar to the Basic Plus model in design, but an additional feature are the side rolls integrated at the front to increase a sense of stability. Additionally, a gullet plate with stirrup bars can be used with this model.

PREMIUM PLUS XH
Das Premium Plus XH Modell ist die Variante für Pferde mit hohem Widerrist. Die XH-Variante ist an der vorderen Kante 7cm höher angeschnitten und bietet somit genügend Platz am Widerrist. Auch hier sind vorne seitliche Pauschen eingearbeitet.
The Premium Plus XH model is the version for horses with high withers. The high cut of the front edge provides plenty of room at the withers. As with the Premium Plus, there are also side rolls integrated at the front of this pad.

SIZING GUIDE
Which size for the bareback pad?
The size for the bareback pad should primarily be chosen from the rider's point of view.
WOMEN: We recommend the PONY size up to size 38. For size 40, both PONY and FULL can be used depending on preference. From size 42 we recommend size FULL.
MEN: Up to size 50 we recommend size PONY. For size 52, PONY and FULL can be chosen according to preference. From size 54 we recommend size FULL.
The length of the horse's back plays a less significant role. As WERNER CHRIST HORSE bareback pads do not have a fixed saddle tree, they adapt perfectly to every horse's back.
